    Ultra safe holidays in Pitlochry

Safe and snug in your own social bubble

As we build our pathway to a safe haven for our guests and staff, we are realising that the new holiday experience will be a little different to that before Covid19. It will take a little while to return to the old "normal", but we hope that the necessary measures that we have put in place will blend easily with our guests' holiday experience and protect everyone that walks in to Rosemount Hotel.
We’re working hard behind the scenes to set up a low-profile system of careful procedures, that builds on our existing high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. These have been regularly remarked upon in reviews and offer a sound springboard for us to develop further preventative and restorative procedures to keep you safe and snug in your social bubble whilst staying at Rosemount.
Whilst we appreciate that you will be concerned about our preventative measures, by and large, you don’t want to be reminded of them on holiday. So, we hammer down the detail, take care at a microscopic level so that you don’t even have to think about it and just have an amazing time away in this gorgeously stunning area.

Our preventative and restorative procedures will keep you safe and snug in your social bubble whilst staying at Rosemount.
Whilst we appreciate that you will be concerned about the level of protection we offer, you possibly don’t want them to be the most obvious part of your holiday. So, we hammer down the detail, take care at a microscopic level so that you don’t even have to think about it and just have an amazing time away in this gorgeously stunning area.
For more detailed information please view our full Coronavirus Hotel Policy, but here is an outline:-

    Contactless Check-in before arrival

To ensure a smooth check-in that reduces contact and touch points, check-in will be completed by phone. Here, any requests you may have such as your dining options, special requirements and places to visit can be discussed and relevant information arranged by our team prior to your arrival. We’ll also ask you to confirm your well-being and body temperature before you leave home to ensure you are not putting yourself or others at risk by travelling to Rosemount. We shall check temperatures of staff each morning and, in the friendliest way possible, we may check that of guests, too, as they check in. Hopefully, we can raise a joke at the time because we’ll be feeling a little bit awkward about doing this, but we’re all in it together.

    Upon Arrival

Upon your arrival at the hotel, we’ll be asking you text or phone us and wait in or around your car while we prepare your welcome and call you in to Reception. You will find a hand sanitiser station at our entrance. We ask that all guests use this. Additionally, the Reception entrance is for entry only, not for to-ing and fro-ing. The way out of the hotel is through and to the rear, to allow for one-way travel of guests through the hotel. This is vital to prevent crossing in corridors.
We respectfully ask that all visitors wear the now-customary face coverings whilst walking through reception, upstairs and along corridors. Masks are provided in your welcome pack.
Our wonderful staff will be here to give you a socially distanced welcome and provide you with your welcome pack. Hopefully, the smile will show in our eyes, as we’ll be covering nose and mouth, as we’ll ask guests to do in our corridors. Complete with your sanitised room key, face-mask, gloves and sanitiser and helpful information for the time you are with us, your welcome pack will also guide you to our digital room folder, which will be available for your to phone on your phone or tablet. We will also talk you through our hygiene procedures implemented to protect you, fellow guests and our team.
We will not handle any baggage unless required by you, to aid in preventing touch points during your arrival. However, if you require assistance, all you need to do is remove your luggage from the boot of your car and we will sanitise the handle and transport it to your room for you.
Additionally, to increase safety travelling throughout the hotel, we have removed contact points en route to your room and between our public areas. Fire doors will NOT be wedged open, but handles will be cleaned regularly throughout the day with a virucide that has been tested to remain in place on surfaces for 8 days

    Daily Housekeeping

To maintain your household bubble, we shall ensure that no one will enter your room for the duration of your stay. Any additional items can easily be requested from reception by telephone.
A traditional housekeeping service is still be available with 24 hours’ notice for interim cleans. However, for your safety we ask that you are not in the room for 5 hours whilst housekeeping are servicing and chemicals are settling.

Socially Distanced Dining & Public Areas

After a busy day of sight-seeing and exploring beautiful Perthshire, our Lochs, Glens, Hillsides and quaint historic towns, you can relax comfortably with our socially distanced dining. Here you can enjoy a drink or delicious meal either in your room, or in a pre-bookable private dining space inside or outside.
So, go ahead, book your family reunion and get life back on track safely. It’s now time for a safe retreat in Scotland’s most gracious county.

    Contactless Checkout

Finally, there will be no need for you to check out at reception as final bills will be emailed to you at 7.30 am on the morning of your departure. Just respond by email with the agreement of accuracy. And, should you have any questions, you may call or message Reception.
We also respectfully ask that you to call or message reception when departing your room to allow our housekeeping to have the longest time possible cleaning the room before the next guest we are due to welcome arrives.

    Our Promise

Please make your reservation with us knowing that you are in dedicated, caring, responsible and approachable hands. To our old friends that we have missed over recent months, we look forward to welcoming you back. To the new friends we have yet to meet, we hope that our “Safe and Snug” programme reassures you of our very best efforts to keep you safe whilst you enjoy your visit to Scotland’s heartland.
