Pet Friendly Easter Breaks Pitlochry

Pet owners looking for Easter Weekend Breaks in Scotland will be pleased to note that Rosemount has a great reputation for dog friendly holiday breaks. The subtleties of catering for dogs in a hotel environment require an instinctive ability to understand the needs of pet families. We believe we have a natural instinct for this.

It is our simple belief that dogs should be treated as part of the family. Owners are invited to eat with their dogs in company in designated areas of the hotel and pets are considered as much our guest as any family member. We have great facilities for folk holidaying with pets, such as a park directly across the road, miles and miles of walks and safe swimming and , possibly most importantly, staff that love dogs.

Pitlochry Festival Theatre is again playing host to concerts to suit all musical tastes in the run up to the Summer Season. On 30th March we see the return of the hugely popular Skerryvore, a multi award-winning Rock Band whose styles effuse echoes  of folk, trad, rock and Americana. The band hails from the tiny Isle of Tiree, but have world acclaim. The concert on Saturday night promises an evening of pure nostalgia for fans of the seventies era.

THE CRUCIBLE

One of the most powerful pieces of 20th century theatre, the tale finds parallels in McCarthyism, portraying the effects of religious and political repression by governments and institutions and the use of fear as a means by which to influence and control society. Its resonance is not outdated, by any means.

Easter Holiday Breaks Scotland – A Day Trip from Pitlochry

One of our many favoured car trips from Pitlochry includes taking the country road through Blair Atholl. Travel onwards to the House and Falls of Bruar, back to Killiecrankie, then over the hill, via Tenandry to Queens View. Travelling on from Queen’s View, the circuit around Loch Tummel back to Pitlochry is immensely scenic. however, some may prefer to head striaght back to Pitlochry instead of extending the journey.

Easter weekend breaks Scotland

For photo-opportunity alone, this is a fabulous trip, but there is added interest at Blair Castle, the House of Bruar, the Killiecrankie Visitor Centre and Queen’s View Visitor Centre
