THE RISE AND FALL OF LITTLE VOICE
Nostalgia at its best! Team up a combination of 90s setting and the fascination of the principle characters with the classic records of Hollywood and Vegas idols like Judy Garland, Shirley Bassey and Marilyn Monroe and you have an enchanting trip down memory lane, in the company of big hair, big suits and big voice
The play centres on the figure of Henry Carr, an elderly man who reminisces about Zürich in 1917 during the First World War, and his interactions with James Joyce when he was writing Ulysses, Tristan Tzara during the rise of Dada, and Lenin leading up to the Russian Revolution. As he reminisces, Carr's memory becomes prone to distraction, and instead of predictable historical biography these characters are interpreted through the maze of his mind.

THE LAST WITCH
A rich, poetic tale full of ambiguity and suspense, The Last Witch reimagines the true story of the alleged Witch of Dornoch: did Janet Horne actually practise witchcraft? Or was she was a charismatic, free-thinking woman, ahead of her time?

November and December can throw up some real surprises to those testing the late Autumn Break market for the first time. Often, the weather can be a lot milder, once the Atlantic storm surges abate. If you can overcome the instinct to curl up and hibernate, this is one of the most invigorating times of year to don a few removal layers, waterproof and walking boots and just get outdoors and see some beautiful scenery. Many of the stunning walks, hereabouts, can still be enjoyed in shortened form. This, especially with some strategic car parking in less well-known locations that we are happy to verbally share with guests, rather than broadcast.
Countless scenic day trips, unsurpassed opportunities to enjoy organised outdoor pursuits, yummy places to eat and Pitlochry’s excellent Theatre add up to an impressive promise of a great time to be had by all.
Twixmas and January Breaks
Twixmas and January are becoming highly popular times for a mid-winter break as increasing numbers of folk are working over the Festive Period. Additionally, pet owners often prefer to bring their pet away either side of Hogmanay, itself, to enjoy the stunning Winter scenery at a time of more peaceful trading.
Although this is a quieter period there are still plenty of beautiful places to visit and stunning walks for some real quality down-time.
