Apart from its own stunning location , Pitlochry offers a perfect base for trips to the greater part of central Scotland, including, Inverness, the Cairngorm National Park, the Highland Wildlife Park, Balmoral, Grantown on Spey, Crieff and the Sma’ Glen, Edinburgh. There are the three Lochs – Tummel, Tay and Rannoch, even a train trip from Rannoch Station to Mallaig and back, via the Harry Potter viaduct. Nominated as one of the top ten rail trips in the world, this might be a novel highlight to your group’s visit to the area.
