The wildlife have come out from hiding, adding to our pleasure and appreciation of nature. Streams and waterfalls cascade with the winter snow-melt and bird song is at its most uplifting.
At Rosemount Hotel, we offer an Easter break with dinner or without dinner. Breakfast is included in all offers. Accommodation is very clean, with high levels of comfort and decor. We have comfortable rooms, most enjoying lovely views and all have ensuite bathrooms. Our beds are provided with quality mattress toppers and pillows ensuring the most comfortable night's sleep. All rooms have TV, most are flat screen. Breakfast comprises an extensive choice hot and cold buffet, claimed by some to be the most impressive they have experienced. In order to experience the stunning scenery that surrounds us in every direction, one day is simply not enough. However, you may wish to start with a visit to Queen's View, the pass of Killiecrankie, Loch Tummel and Pitlochry's famous Hydro Electric Dam and Fish Ladder. You could visit one of several tranquil glens that surround us, explore castles or visit a distillery. If you require an activity-based break, there is ample opportunity to engage in exhilarating outdoor pursuits such as quad biking, off-road 4x4, white water rafting, canyoning, canoing, a round of golf or some fishing. There are the Falls of Bruar (with a very worthwhile visit to the House of Bruar or Blair castle), Hermitage at Dunkeld, Black Spout Wood - all short walks offering fabulous waterfalls, gorges and the chance to spot some wild-life. For a combination of Adventure and the opportunity to sit back and enjoy the ride, why not try a LandRover Safari into the wilds of Perthshire? Within a pleasant, scenic drive are Loch Tay, Loch Rannoch, Rannoch Moor, Dunkeld, Perth, Crieff, Balmoral and Braemar. Radiating outwards, and through stunning scenery, are Aviemore, the Cairngorms, Speyside and the Whisky trail, Inverness, Loch Ness, Fort William, Oban, Glencoe, Callander, the Trossachs, Stirling, Glasgow and Edinburgh; all within a comfortable day's touring distance.
