Pitlochry Festival Theatre is our local theatre and offers a full programme offering six plays each week, workshops and Summer concerts throughout the Summer Season and a series of Weekend productions and workshops through the Winter . . Please see information below.

The six theatrical productions this year offer superb entertainment – along  with all of the familiar PFT trademarks: lavish costumes, beautifully realised sets (which often attract rounds of applause all by themselves!) and thrilling performances from PFT's talented and versatile acting company.

The flagship production for 2010 will be Cole Porter’s musical comedy masterpiece, Kiss Me, Kate! But the excitement doesn’t end there. We also have Michael Frayn’s classic theatrical comedy, Noises Off; Oscar Wilde’s dangerous, witty and ever popular An Ideal Husband; and a riotous nautical comedy, Rough Crossing by Tom Stoppard. From across the pond, there’s a second slice of Americana in Bus Stop, William Inge’s bittersweet romance. And to complete this wide-ranging selection from around the world, there’s Zola’s Nana adapted by Olwen Wymark: sinful, scandalous and sexually charged!

We are pleased to offer a free glass of house wine with any pre-Theatre Dinner which is booked ahead of your stay. We serve from 6pm, which allows ample time to enjoy your meal before leaving for the evening's performance.

Cinderalla, Pitlochry's first Panto, opens 2nd December ( "oh no it doesn't . . . OH YES IT DOES!)

• The first performance will be on Thursday 2^nd December, and the last on New years day!
• Prices range from £12.50 to £24.50 with usual discounts applying.
• Earlybird offer of £2.50 applies if you book before Oct 1^st
• School groups at £6 per person!
• Times are 2pm for matinees and 7pm for evening performances.
